This 4-pin peripheral molex extension cable allows you to extend the 4-pin power from your ATX power supply to your 4-pin IDE drives and other devices.
Premium cable construction features all black connectors and high density sleeving for minimal wire visibility.
Note: due to the low-tolerance nature of the legacy 4-pin connector it's important to align the pins when connecting.

Important: The 4-pin ATX peripheral (Molex) connector is a legacy design with looser manufacturing tolerances that can make connections challenging.

Why connections can be difficult:

Older connector design with wider pin tolerance ranges
Sleeving and heatshrink near the connector can create tension on the pins

Connection tips:

Twist the wire bundle gently behind the connector housing to relieve tension
Visually inspect pin alignment before attempting connection
Apply gentle, even pressure - forcing the connection can push pins out of position
If resistance is felt, stop and check alignment rather than forcing
