A note regarding fan compatibility and BIOS alerts

Depending on the RPM range of fan used with this cable, some Dell systems may report a fan error during bootup. Adjusting BIOS fan settings may be required but generally systems are still able to boot completely.
Fan speed control is only possible with 4-Pin PWM fans.
Voltage-controlled fan speed for 3-Pin fans is not supported by the Dell systems and will result in the fan operating at full speed.
